Looking for a fun outdoor restaurant that serves creative local cuisine? The Hangout is one of the few Gulf Shores restaurants that provide beach access to customers, plus it offers fun, energized activities and fresh, inspired dishes for the entire family.
Convenient Beach Entry
Located on the white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, The Hangout offers its own little piece of the beach to its customers. This makes it easy for patrons to walk up from the beach to the restaurant and enjoy a few drinks, beachside burgers, or local seafood dishes before continuing on with their day. Families will enjoy the ability to go right to the beach and walk along the sand, play beach volleyball, or just build sandcastles. There is even an outdoor shower nearby for rinsing off.
Located on 2.5 acres, The Hangout includes three outdoor bars and an open-air indoor restaurant that fits up to 350 people. While they enjoy the nearby beach views and gulf air breezes, customers can partake in a variety of fruity drinks, margaritas and daiquiris, as well as fresh gulf shrimp and beachside burgers. The Hangout also offers fresh seafood caught from the Gulf Shores.
Live Outdoor Music
The Hangout plays live music on an outdoor stage daily, which often entices beachgoers to the restaurant to see what’s playing. Many customers enjoy sipping drinks at the one of the outdoor bars or the outdoor picnic area and listening as live entertainment begins early in the day and lasts until closing time. In May, the Hangout hosts The Hangout Music and Arts Festival, which features more than 50 bands.
If you’re looking for an open-air restaurant with its own beach access along the Gulf Shores, then come visit The Hangout, where you can grab some drinks or local cuisine straight from the beach. It’s strictly a come-as-you-are type of place, where everyone is welcome and there is something fun for everyone to enjoy.
